Post Thrity-Five: Updates

On the shrug: It is nine and a half inches long now. On the other knitterly objects: yeah...not so much. On the LOV thing: I have turned down pot roast, a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, and turkey. And discovered that a lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayo sandwich is not as gross as it sounds. On the fish: He is swimming happily in his bowl/tank/thing, see? I also have a photo of him puffing his gills because the camera was threatening him. Silly boy! And his name is Fishy, BTW. How imaginative, huh?

The first snow of the season has hit us. Just enough to stick, apparently. Just a tiny, tiny bit. Really makes me look forward to that Christmas Parade. Not. But that's Michigan for ya, last night: 65 degrees and a tornado watch. This afternoon: snow that sticks.

Comments:
So, do you do Wendy's with the 99 cent side salad and baked potato? That's what I do if I have time or just fries if I don't and am heading back home for more food.

How are you feeling with the LOV at school? Is anyone being nasty? Is it hard to find food to eat at the cafeteria?

Oh, I was going to tell you: we drove through your town on the way to Frankenmuth last week (yes, we got lost). My mom usually takes M-52 up to 69 from her old house (we'd stopped to eat lunch there, as it's not rented yet), but then she forgot, I didn't get the map out, and we realized our mistake after we'd passed Webberville on the freeway. I thought I could get us up to 69 from Fowlerville (not as easy as it looked on the flip map), and I was so upset I didn't have your phone number to call and tell you we were driving through.

When we passed your school, I yelled out hello, but you probably couldn't hear me. :)

Actually, I don't eat as work all that often, anyway. And at school, it really isn't all that hard. But it would be *impossible* to be vegan without bringing a lunch. Lots of people ask me why I'm doing it, and I started a veg vs. not veg debate the first two days. But it wasn't nasty at all, so it's going well. It's harder to find something to eat in my house, really.
How was Webbertucky looking? Used to live there, too. Miss it dearly.
